A Look Back at NYCWFF 2013
I hope you all had as much fun as I had this weekend!
The Food Network‘s NYC Wine and Food Festival took place this past weekend and I was involved in three great events. On Friday night I hosted the “Rockin’ Dumplings and Rollin’ Sushi” presented by Eater at the Harvard Club. I had such a wonderful time singing karaoke and catching up with old friends. Thank you to everyone that attended, I look forward to seeing you again next year.
I also participated in the Grand Tasting presented by ShopRite on Saturday. I demonstrated what you can do with a 115 lb Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna with my head sushi chef from Morimoto NYC. Thank you to everyone that came to the demonstration.
My final event of the weekend was the Master Sushi Rolling Class at Morimoto NYC. I had so much fun sharing my tips and tricks with the attendees. I will share a couple of tips with those of you who could not attend. Tip #1: Don’t mix wasabi in the soy sauce! Tip #2: Roll sushi like a cat, as demonstrated here.Thank you to everyone that attended the events over the course of the weekend. I can’t wait until NYCWFF 2014.
